g.force

A brand website for g.force architecture studio—composed dark tones with a stroke of red, framing its architectural expertise.

Website

Background

g.force (Chiu Fu-Shun Architects) is a young, experimental studio with over twenty years of experience and a hundred-plus completed projects, overseeing everything from spatial concept to on-site construction. They needed a website just as considered—one that lets the work speak for itself.

Challenge

The power of architecture lives in the photography itself, but a site that simply arranges photos into a grid reads as cold and characterless. The challenge was to let architectural photography lead while building a distinct brand presence, guiding visitors smoothly through a restrained layout.

Action

We grounded the design in deep dark tones with a single stroke of red as the brand mark, setting a composed, contemporary tone. The home page drifts project thumbnails along a horizontal axis with the "g.force" wordmark layered over them—the work is the hero; below, an "About" section and the figures "20 years, 100 projects" back it up, while full-bleed photography and concise notes tell each project’s story. Type, spacing, and motion stay tightly consistent, so a sense of craft seeps from every detail.

Results

The result is a quiet yet weighty brand site—it puts architectural photography first, frames the work with restraint, and clearly conveys g.force’s devotion to quality and detail.
