A brand website for QIN YUE Design—cinematic darkness and elegant serif type framing high-end interior design.
Background
QIN YUE Design is a high-end interior studio in Taichung, with work spanning residential and commercial spaces. "Qin" stands for cultivation and abundance, "Yue" for the precious—and they believe good spaces come from long understanding and refinement. That faith in craft called for a website just as composed and enduring.
Challenge
High-end interior design sells not information but atmosphere and trust. The challenge was to recreate the light and white space of a physical room through a digital interface, let dramatic dark-toned photography coexist with crisp browsing, and present both residential and commercial work while making contact easy to find.
Action
We set the tone with an elegant display serif and let the site move between dark and light moods. The home page opens on cinematic, deeply understated interior photography with the "QIN YUE DESIGN" wordmark surfacing quietly; "About" returns to light tones, conveying attitude through the name’s meaning, a statement of belief, and the founder’s signature. The work appears in an editorial grid filterable by All / Commercial / Residential, each project carrying a poetic bilingual title and full-bleed photography, with the footer resolving into complete contact details and social links.
Results
A studio site that is quiet yet weighty—it puts spatial photography first, frames the work in cinematic darkness and elegant serif type, and clearly conveys QIN YUE’s devotion to quality and time, letting prospective clients gracefully get to know the brand, browse the work, and reach out.
