A membership website for the Taipei Performing Arts Center that turns joining into the opening of a great show.
Background
Since opening in 2022, the Taipei Performing Arts Center has staged 2,500+ performances and welcomed 3 million visitors. To turn one-time audiences into long-term members, it needed a membership site that does more than list plans—it conveys that theater is something to look forward to.
Challenge
A membership page has to do two things that pull against each other: move people emotionally and explain clearly. The challenge was to let lyrical theatrical atmosphere coexist with a clearly itemized plan table on one page, carrying visitors from "curious" to "join now" through one smooth scroll.
Action
We designed the site as a performance that unfolds scene by scene. It opens with "Join now—let the show begin!" over blue-violet 3D visuals inspired by the Globe Playhouse; the plans section lays out three tiers as clear cards backed by a line-by-line benefits table. An interactive "which type of performance lover are you?" quiz lightens the decision, while theater scenes and real testimonials stack trust, resolving into a ticket-purchase flow and FAQ. Blue-violet dark tones and glassmorphic cards give it both cultural texture and digital crispness.
Results
A membership site that holds both emotion and information—part invitation, part clear instruction sheet. From the hero to the quiz to the plan comparison, each scroll answers a question and steers toward "join now," giving the center an entry point that keeps recruiting members.
